MEMBER: STAGE DIRECTORS AND CHOREOGRAPHERS SOCIETY

 

Mr. Wade’s professional credits include Of Mice and Men for The Olney Theatre Center, Humble Boy, Enigma Variations, Terra Nova, and Play Strindberg for The Washington Stage Guild, and The Normal Heart, Tartuffe, Our Town, and The Importance of Being Earnest for The National Players Touring Company.  He also directed a staged reading of Anastasia Traina’s In Audela at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Mr. Wade’s university directing credits are extensive.  At George Washington University he has directed 35 plays including his own adaptation of Steven Millhauser’s novella Enchanted Night, six of Shakespeare’s plays, Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler,  Brecht’s The Caucasian Chalk Circle, two world premieres, and numerous plays from the contemporary repertoire including The Marriage of Bette and Boo, Cloud Nine, and the Fifth of July.
